Gospel Mission Baptist Church Knapp has been around for over 75 years.  In that time, we’ve seen a lot of changes here in the beautiful Knapp Valley.  What hasn’t changed is our love for, and commitment to serve the people of Knapp and the surrounding area.

We are an independent Baptist church and belong to the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches.

Our Mission:

Gospel Mission Baptist Church exists to glorify God, edify and equip others, give hope to the lost, and teach the truth of God’s Word in Knapp and around the world.

About Pastor Tim and his family:

In December of 2017, we welcomed Pastor Tim Cecil and his family to Knapp.  Tim, his wife Samantha, and their kids moved here from Watertown Wisconsin to serve here in Knapp.

Pastor Tim grew up in Northern Wisconsin and is passionate about teaching the truth of God’s word.  He has a heart to see others grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus.  Prior to becoming a Pastor, he worked jobs in education, construction, and retail fields.  When he’s not studying God’s word, hanging out with his family, Pastor Tim likes to hunt, fish, garden and complete woodworking projects.

Samantha has a teaching degree and works at a local childcare center in Menomonie.  Sam has a heart for those who are hurting, and enjoys playing piano and worshiping God through song.  In her spare time, Sam enjoys decorating with reclaimed items, entertaining in her home, gardening, and cooking.

Pastor Tim and Sam have five children together.  Three of them are grown and live here in La Crosse, Wisconsin and Lynchburg, Virginia; and the two youngest attend Menomonie High School.
